Some time ago I bought myself a Petzl e+LITE headlamp. Before that I had used a headlamp from an unknown manufacturer and was anything but satisfied with it. With the Petzl e+LITE things are completely different! For me, simply everything is right about this headlamp: the weight, burn time and handling of the lamp match my area of use exactly.
Thanks to its low weight, the headlamp is very comfortable to wear on the head despite the very narrow elastic band, and the tilt angle can be adjusted easily. A sensible red plastic box for transporting the headlamp is included. However, at 18.6 g it weighs in rather heavily by comparison. So if you want to travel consistently ultralight, you can leave this sturdy protective case at home. You can also find an interesting video test of the Petzl e+LITE on Odoo.tv.
