The MSR PackTowl UltraLite is available in 4 sizes (Small – XL) and impresses with its low weight in every version. If you are not put off by the fact that the XL version of the towel costs around €20, you can now save some weight on your treks without running the risk of not getting properly dry.
Despite the low weight, MSR has not done without a loop on the towel, so you can hang it on a tree or in the washroom of the campsite. I bought the towel in size “L” myself and, even as a stockier type at 1.85 m tall, I can dry myself off completely with it. It does feel a little strange, though, if you are used to a normal towel.
