To match the “Downy Light” down jacket introduced back in September, Carinthia is also launching the Down Gloves. They are meant to be comfortable to wear, feather-light, packable to pocket size and yet robust. For the fill, Carinthia uses 90/10 goose down with a fill power of 700 cuin.
The lining is Pertex Quantum, while the highly water-repellent, PU-coated Pertex Quantum Endurance is used as the outer fabric. The nylon microfibre yarns used have high tensile strength and abrasion resistance, which is said to make the fabric remarkably tear- and scuff-resistant. To ensure better protection on the palms, these are reinforced with Schoeller Keprotec.
Depending on size, a pair weighs around 300 g, and the recommended retail price is €149.90.
