The Kemeri raised bog trail is an extremely popular walk that should ideally be undertaken outside of weekends or the peak season. The walk along the boardwalks through the raised bogs of Kemeri National Park is both well-visited and extremely scenic. The starting point is a paid parking lot, which is open 24 hours a day and costs €3 for 24-hour parking. There are basic toilets there, which were to be avoided on the day of our visit. It is also possible to spend the night here at no extra cost. The hiking trail begins with a short section through a picturesque forest and then leads into the impressive moorland landscape. Benches along the trail invite you to linger.

For those who are unsure whether they can manage the 4.5 km route, there is the option of skipping the viewing tower at the end and choosing a much shorter circular route instead. Interestingly, the Kemeri bog is known for its diverse birdlife, and the Kemeri National Park in general is famous for its sulphurous healing springs. During the hike, visitors can also admire the unique flora of the bog, including various moss species and rare flowers, which make the area an important botanical reserve.
