I have now visited the cricket castle three times and tried a new route this time. The short walk starts between the mini castle and the actual castle in a small parking lot in the middle of the village. From there, the path leads steadily uphill through the Lange Tal valley to the stamp box. However, I recommend that you don’t turn back there, but climb a few more meters to the actual castle ruins.

If you can’t find a parking space or prefer a longer hike, I recommend using the parking lot directly behind the campsite, which I can also recommend for overnight stays. Personally, I liked the longer ascent from here a little better.
