After the strenuous tour of the previous day, a very leisurely hike to the Greizer Hütte awaited us today. The trail leads to the other side of the valley, but without crossing it first. So you walk without any major climbs and with a magnificent view as far as the Lapenscharte.
Along the way you have to cross a few streams, which of course becomes harder in bad weather or during the snowmelt. You also come across 2 sections secured with wire rope, which are still fairly unproblematic and certainly cause no difficulties in good weather.
The hardest and most strenuous part is the ascent to the Lapenscharte. After that it is just a very leisurely descent to the Greizer Hütte.
