About 2 km after Staberdorf, in the south-east of the island, you will come to a guarded marina with a huge antenna tower visible from afar. There is a small parking lot in front of which a very beautiful and sandy bay, albeit interspersed with large stones, opens up to the east, which is particularly popular with divers and anglers. From here, the lighthouse at Staberhuk can be reached in half an hour’s walk along the beach with an extensive search for hens. The 25-metre-high brick tower was put into service in 1904, making it the youngest lighthouse on the island. The site is fenced off and not open to the public. From here, you can return to the parking lot on a paved path, which is only accessible on foot or by bike, along the Staberholz, the small deciduous forest, which is the only wooded area on the otherwise treeless island apart from Katharinenhof.
