The Liebesbankweg (“Love Bench Trail”) – an easy, 7-kilometre themed walk. The route leads through forests, past lakes and meadows and up to the 727 m Bocksberg (side trail). The Liebesbankweg offers varied scenery with lovely views of the Harz foreland.
Starting points for the Liebesbankweg
The Liebesbankweg has several starting points from which the circular walk can be begun:
- In Hahnenklee at the stave church (main access)
- at the Auerhahn on the road connecting Goslar and Clausthal-Zellerfeld
- in the Bockswiese district
A detour to the cable car station on the Bocksberg is recommended (side trail, about 1.2 km extra).
