At the beginning of June, I set off on this adventurous tour through the Harz Mountains, which took me 67 km through the Harz Mountains and rewarded me with 16 stamps. Overnight accommodation can be found in the surrounding villages such as Wieda, Zorge, Braunlage and Hohegeiß.

Unfortunately, it took me a little too long to write the report, which is why I have to limit myself to a rough summary.

Route description of the hike from Bad Sachsa

From the parking lot in Bad Sachsa, I started directly into the forest to stamp point no. 22. I then went back down via the Ravensberg tower to stamp point no. 161. Passing through Wieda, I finally reached the Kreuztalsklippe (stamp point no. 162). The somewhat hidden ascent was not immediately recognizable as such, but led me to my destination without any injuries.

The actual “stamp hunt” for the 45 km section began the next morning. At first, the path in the pouring rain to the first stamping point “Roter Schuss” (No. 90) proved to be a challenge, but after that it went on in quick succession. I will spare you a detailed list of the stamping points visited here.

The last day brought two more stamps: No. 158 on the Hassenstein and the Hohe Tür (No. 43). The trail then led just past Steina back to the starting point. Between the last two stamp points, however, the route planning was suboptimal. The heavily overgrown path was barely recognizable as such. I have marked an alternative route in yellow on the map.
